Rob Rushton

Rob Rushton
Managing Director

Rob joined ATG in 1992, following a successful career in the electrical industry, working in both the UK and overseas. Having spent his early career working as an Electrical Technician, he progressed to hold QA and health & safety management positions.

He was originally appointed a Director at ATG in 1994, with responsibility for operations, quality and health & safety. In 1997, he assumed responsibility as the Construction and Health, Safety & Environment Director. He was appointed as Managing Director in 2004.


Peter Atherton

Peter Atherton
Financial Director

Peter joined ATG in 1994 as a Financial Controller, having previously held financial positions in the engineering and manufacturing industries. He was appointed as Financial Director and Company Secretary in 2002.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.


Geoff Manley

Geoff Manley
Operations Director

Geoff joined ATG in 1992 and has spent his entire career working in the electrical industry.

After completing an apprenticeship as an electrician with Balfour Kilpatrick, Geoff gained a HNC in Electrical Engineering and progressed to hold a number of supervisory and managerial positions in the electrical industry.

In 1999 he was appointed as Operations Director for the engineering division, responsible for engineering site services.


John McDonald

John McDonald
Operations Director

John joined ATG in 2003 from multinational telecommunications company Corning, where he had held a number of senior positions including Commercial Director and Operations Director within their European Projects Division.

Having completed an Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Salford, John spent much of his early career with BICC, a major cables and construction group. During this time, he qualified as a Chartered Engineer and completed a Masters degree in Business Administration at Henley Management College.


Jim Sandison

Jim Sandison
Operations & Commercial Director

Jim joined ATG in 1990 from Mowlem to set up AT Contracts, which has subsequently evolved into the engineering site services division.  He has been a Director of the company ever since.

He has held numerous positions in the electrical industry throughout his career and has specific experience in the contract management of major projects. Jim has also extensive experience in the oil & gas industry and has been instrumental in building the Company's close relationship with Shell at Stanlow.
